Kits

Menu board kits: 3, 4 and 6-screen QBC sets

Every kit below is a row of Samsung QBC commercial screens priced at today's store price. The player is inside each screen, so the only other part is the wall mount, which we quote once we know the wall.

Row of landscape menu board kit screens hung over a deli counter
Gourmet Deli: a five-screen landscape row. Installed by CrownTV.

Kit prices: QBC and QMC

QBC is Samsung's 350-nit, 16/7 line and the one we'd start with for most restaurants. QMC is 500 nits and 24/7 for stores with long hours or daylight on the wall. Same size, same bracket, same Tizen 7.0 player.

Build your own row

Pick a size, a count and an orientation. The total uses the same live prices as the table.

How we'd pick

Count the menu sections first and buy one screen per section. Then measure the wall. A row of four 43s is about 12.7 feet wide and a row of three 50s about 11.1 feet. If the wall is narrower than the row, go portrait or drop a size.

Don't mix sizes in one row. A 50 next to a 43 looks like a mistake from the line.

A 65 is rarely right over a counter. At 21.5 kg each, a row of them needs a strong wall and it towers over the menu. We use 65s as single feature screens instead.

Portrait boards work between shelves and on a narrow column by the register. Check ceiling height: a portrait 55 is about 4.1 feet tall.

What isn't in the box

  • Mounts. Not on the store, so quoted. QB43C to QB55C all use a 200 x 200 mm VESA pattern, so one bracket model covers the row.
  • Power and data. One outlet behind each screen. Wi-Fi works; a wired drop is steadier for a cloud menu.
  • Content. The screens play from USB out of the box. For scheduled breakfast and lunch menus you'll want software; prices are on the cost breakdown.
  • Install. Your installer, or CrownTV. CrownTV installation covers mount, cabling and setup.

Menu board kits: questions

What comes in a menu board kit?

The screens, plus wall mounts quoted to your wall. There is no separate player because the QBC has a Tizen player built in. Content and software are your choice; see menu board software.

Why are mounts quoted and not priced?

Because DisplayDetails doesn't list mounts on the store, and the right bracket depends on the wall: drywall, tile, a soffit, or a ceiling drop over the counter. We'd rather quote the real one than show a made-up number.

Can one image stretch across the whole row?

It can, but not every app syncs screens. If you want a single wide image or video across three or four screens, say so when you ask for a quote and we'll match the software to it.

Should I buy QBC or QMC for menu boards?

QBC if the store closes at night and the boards don't face a window. QMC if you run past 16 hours or have daylight on the screens. A six-screen 43" row costs $504 more in QMC today.

How much power does a 4-screen board draw?

About 484 watts typical for four QB43Cs, using Samsung's typical power figure of 121 W per screen. Put each screen on an outlet behind its own bracket.

Can I build a digital menu board myself?

Yes, a DIY digital menu board is three parts you can buy and hang yourself: commercial screens with a player built in (the Samsung QBC), a wall mount for each screen, and software to edit the menu, such as Samsung VXT, or a USB stick if the menu rarely changes. The kit prices on this page add up exactly those screens at live prices, so you can buy them and hang them yourself.

Do you install the kits?

CrownTV does. Its published all-in price is $3,150 per 43" screen and $3,250 per 50" screen, including mount, player, install, training and first-year software (checked October 22, 2026).
